I will review and update my half-century of experience in astronomy outreach in Canada and beyond, the organizations in which I have served, and the factors that have contributed to success — notably partnership.

The RASC figures prominently in my experience; I have been a member since 1961. One of my goals in this presentation is to encourage the RASC to continue and expand their Michael-Smith-Award-winning outreach work, which I enthusiastically support.
