It’s All A Matter of Scale

Planetarium
50 St. George Street
Toronto

November 28, 2014

Showtimes: 7:00pm, 8:00pm, 9:00pm

As humans living on the surface of the Earth, it’s difficult to imagine how truly small and fragile our planet is in the grand scheme of things. In this tour of the scales of the Universe, we will discover our place in the cosmos. We will begin by exploring our solar system, and the farthest places that humans and our man-made probes have reached. We will travel to the nearest stars and reveal humanity’s influence on the Universe in the form of radio signals sent out from our planet. Finally, we will see our galaxy, the Milky Way, and its place in the large-scale structure of the Universe.

Tickets to public shows must be purchased at the door.  Reservations are not required.  Tickets are $5 per person and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  Tickets for all shows go on sale at 6:30, but can be purchased immediately prior to each show as well, subject to availability.
