Come see the planets as you’ve never seen them before! On September 14, join us for our second annual Planet Gazing Party with telescopes, prizes, stars and planets. Starting at 7:30 p.m., we’ll have telescopes set up to view Jupiter, Saturn, and their moons. Come see mountains and craters on our own Moon in spectacular detail. Talk to astronomers and telescope enthusiasts and get all your space questions answered. Take a selfie with our gigantic Moon globe and play trivia games to win great prizes.
Make sure to arrive before 9:00 p.m. if you want to catch Jupiter and it moons. Saturn, and the Moon will be visible until the conclusion of the event.

Although this is an outdoor event, we unfortunately cannot allow dogs onto Back Campus Fields.
The location of the Planet Gazing Party. The event is taking place on Back Campus Fields, which is a sports field located at St. George Street and Hoskin Avenue, on Hoskin Avenue just east of St. George Street and Robarts

Parking – there is an underground paid parking lot located at the Rotman Building, 107 St. George Street, as well as paid street parking around campus. Parking can be limited and we always recommend taking transit, the closest Subway Station is St. George which is a short walk from the venue.
